Itinerary: Everest Base Camp Trekking

 
Day 01: Fly to Lukla (2800m/9184ft) and Trek to Jorsale (2835m/9299ft) 35 minutes flights/ 4-5 hours trek
 
Day 02: Jorsale to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11283ft) 3-4 hours
 
Day 03: 1st Acclimatization Day/ Day hike to Everest View Hotel, Khumjung village and Kunde Hospital
 
Day 04: Namche Bazar to Debuche (3800m/12464ft) 5-6 hours
 
Day 05: Debuche to Dingboche (4360m/14301ft) 4-5 hours
 
Day 06: 2nd Acclimatization Day/ Day hike to Chhukung
 
Day 07: Dingboche to Thughla (4620m/15154ft) 2-3 hours
 
Day 08:  Thughla to Lobuche (4930m/16170ft) 2-3 hours
 
Day 09: Lobuche to Gorakshep (5160m/19925ft) and hike to Everest Base Camp (5360m/17581ft) then back to Gorakshep 7-9 hours
 
Day 10: Morning hike to Kalapattar (5545m/18188ft) then trek down to Pheriche (4240m/13907ft)/ 7-9 hours
 
Day 11: Pheriche to Phortse (3810m/12497ft) 5-6 hours
 
Day 12: Phortse to Namche Bazar (3440m/11283ft)/ 5-6 hours

 

Day 13: Namche Bazar to Lukla (2800m/9184ft) 6-7 hours
 
Day 14: Fly back to Kathmandu (1335m/4379ft) 35 minutes
The 14 Days Everest Base Camp Trek costs US$ 1225 per person.

The Cost includes the following:

+ All necessary ground transportation and airport transfers on private car with a/c
+ All necessary trekking permits, national park and museum entry tickets
+ Kathmandu – Lukla – Kathmandu flight tickets 
+ Experienced trekking guide and trekking porters and their transportation, meals, accommodation, equipment and insurance
+ All accommodation during trek 
+ All meals ( breakfast, lunch, dinner, hot drinks, soup and deserts)
+ All necessary trekking gears like sleeping bags, trek poles, gaiters, micro spikes, water bottles, duffel bags, down jacket, trekking map etc.

 

 

The cost does not include the following:

 
– Meals and accommodation in Kathmandu 
– Expenses of personal nature
– Bar, laundry, spa, communication bills
– Cold drinks, mineral water, extra snacks and alcoholic drinks
– Extra expenses due to unexpected and unavoidable circumstances
– Heli evac (if in case of emergency)
– Tips to the staffs
 
 Our guides are US$ 30 per day and Porters US$ 20 per day. 

The rooms per night depends on the standard of the hotel ranging between US$ 5 to US$ 150 per night.

Permits is about US$ 45 for the EBC trek. (TIMS card US$10 + Sagarmatha National Park Entry Fee US$ 35)
Best months for the trek are March – May and Sept – Dec.
